Definition- A Puppet is a person, group, state, etc., that appears independent but is in fact controlled by another.
Benjamin A. Heimer (SGA Vice President, Truman College)
Admitted in a District Student Government meeting that he was being "groomed" by the Chancellor to take a position after he has graduated from City Colleges of Chicago. Also, he along with Gwen Fulgern, sabotaged a student held press conference and then used his "flunky" David Palm (Truman College "Uptown Exchange" writer) to write a deceptively divisive and incorrect news story that stated that the decision to "blast" the District was only endorsed by one man when in fact, it was the decision of student leaders from all city colleges including a non-SGA Student organization from Ben's own school Truman College. We have obtained legally notarized, written and voice recorded documentation of this arrangement that Ben himself stated "on the record". Wonder what the people at DePaul University will think.
Edgar Gonzalez (Former SGA President-Harold Washington College)
Appeared on television for a "talk" with the Chancellor and was impeached by his SGA for his disloyalty against his SGA and student body and loyalty to the Chancellor. He also stated to several people that he is being given a full scholarship to Northwestern University courtesy of the Chancellor Hyman and her connections.
Gwen Fulgern (Student Trustee)
She has chosen to give her undying loyalty to Chancellor Hyman and the District Office Administration. She has not presented a single "motion" to the Board of Trustees based on the District SGA Council's recommendations which is the voice of the student body.
Jeremy Shine (SGA President-Malcolm X College)
He has abandoned his school and not been present very much. He instead has chosen to work at the District Office with the "Reinvention" Team. The same reinvention that has spent an unexplainable amount of taxpayers and student's money for unnecessary renovations at District Office while firing 6 of the 7 Presidents with no regard to the students welfare.
